Job Description

Turner & Townsend Group is a leading provider of professional services to the Data Centres, Life Sciences, Pharma, R&D facilities, Industrial, Manufacturing, Distribution & Logistics sectors globally.

Job Objectives:

  • Establish and implement processes, templates, and tools to manage project cost and schedule, while monitoring performance and incorporating risk, opportunities, and change.
  • Lead the evaluation of project time, cost, and quality targets, applying governance controls to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with a remote team of cost managers to establish a market-tested cost baseline and ensure client value for money.
  • Guide and influence the general contractor to ensure progress in line with the schedule and within agreed cash flow parameters.
  • Act as the key point of contact for the client, resolving delivery and commercial issues, and preparing reports on time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Create and maintain a cost report, summarizing financials in an executive-level dashboard.
  • Understand and apply change management principles, leading the agreed change management process and workflow.
  • Coordinate and lead planning sessions and workshops with clients and vendors to compile the master project/programme schedule, agreeing baselines and a critical path.
  • Participate in project team risk evaluations, incorporating defined risks into Monte Carlo simulations to output quantitative impacts on project cost and schedule.
  • Work closely with the project team to stay informed on project changes, incorporating and communicating these to the project team for approvals in the change management process.
  • Hold vendors accountable for required schedule updates and reporting to maintain timely and accurate updates of the master schedule, adhering to defined processes and quality expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project controls coordination across all phases of the project lifecycle, including program, risk, and reporting, with specialist life sciences or data centre sector experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to determine corrective actions or recommendations based on facts and figures, critically evaluating information and data from various sources.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and Primavera P6.
  • Able to demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent service.
  • Strong time management skills, quick thinking, and ability to meet project deadlines as necessary.
