Public Health Specialist - 0-19 Years Role

We are seeking a skilled Public Health Specialist to join our 0-19 Universal Health Service team, working as part of an integrated team to provide strong clinical leadership and supervision.

The successful candidate will lead on the delivery of the Health Child Programme 0-5, using their expertise to develop and implement evidence based public health services.

This role involves delivering the model of health visiting at a community, universal, targeted and specialist level, ensuring safeguarding is embedded within the model.

Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of the 0-19 Universal Health Service team
  • Develop and implement public health services
  • Collaborate with partners to deliver high quality care

Requirements:Qualifications and Experience:
  • Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN-Health Visitor) qualification
  • Proven experience in public health service delivery
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Good understanding of the healthy child programme 0-5
  • Demonstrable leadership and management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement policy and procedure

Estimated Salary: £52,000 per annum
