Project Manager - Construction Division

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join our client's Construction Division in Dundee. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring timely completion, quality, and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, including programming, labour direction, and budgeting activities.
  • Manage and supervise direct reports, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with IMS and quality management systems, developing and implementing quality control programs as needed.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure H&S standards are maintained.
  • Manage sub-contractors, including safety, quality, and performance monitoring, and chair/attend meetings as required.
  • Attend project meetings, including pre-start, progress, and technical meetings, to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
  • Manage project conclusion, including completion of operation and maintenance information, addressing defects, and archiving records.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction or engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' management experience, including strategic planning and directing of projects.
  • Steel frame and cladding experience.
  • In-depth experience within the construction industry, preferably in a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, or Senior Site Manager role.
