About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Small Works Manager to join our client's construction team in Dundee. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the estimation, planning, and management of small works projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all tender opportunities, assessing best options to ensure resources and margin strategy is considered and implemented.
  • Estimate and review tenders, ensuring risk and margin have been fully considered.
  • Oversee programme progress, cost control, direct labour management, and management of sub-contractors.
  • Supervise site management and site teams, identifying training needs and ensuring compliance with building and safety codes.
  • Liaise with project design teams to ensure timely information exchange.
  • Establish and manage systems for health, safety, and welfare.
  • Regularly inspect sites to ensure projects are carried out safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Strong trades background and experience managing teams.
  • Full driver's license and minimum of MVQ or SVQ, CSCS preferred.
  • CITB Site Supervisor Certificate.
