Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer – Product Security to join our team at BAE Systems Submarines. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the submarine systems and products are developed to support the delivery of an appropriately secure and resilient product.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct security threat and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement security requirements and control groups to ensure the security of our products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive security assurance strategy.
- Lead security engineering management planning to ensure the security of our products throughout their lifecycle.
- Proven experience in risk management and cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Technical controls experience and knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
- Degree or equivalent in a STEM subject (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or similar).
- Experience in requirement derivation and technical writing.
- Knowledge of MOD defence domain and cybersecurity standards.
