Job Title:

Engineer – Product Security

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Security Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems Submarines. As a Product Security Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our submarine systems and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct security threat and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in our systems and products.
  • Develop and implement security requirements and control groups to mitigate identified risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a security assurance strategy.
  • Manage and plan security engineering activities to ensure the delivery of secure products.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in risk management and cybersecurity.
  • Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Technical controls experience and knowledge of security protocols.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Degree or equivalent in a STEM subject (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or similar).
  • Experience in requirement derivation and technical writing.
  • Knowledge of MOD defence domain and technical writing.
