Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at Mj Quinn Integrated Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the effective and efficient delivery of mechanical services installation on our Bournemouth Contract. This will involve taking full responsibility for all personnel working on that contract and delivering services to the required SLA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day project delivery on designated projects, including delivery to client requirements, safety, quality, supplier performance, and improvement.
  • Develop strong commercial relationships to expand the offer locally.
  • Manage and lead M&E field supervisors responsible for designated projects.
  • Ensure accidents, incidents, and near misses, quality failures, and service deterioration trends are investigated competently, and corrective action is taken where and when appropriate.
  • Through a close working relationship with commercial, identify at the earliest opportunity risks to delivering the budget, supplier, and/or overhead cost impacting upon the project.
  • Manage the operational relationship with all suppliers and have monitoring in place to ensure that M&E field supervisors are performing to the required standards.
Requirements:
  • Recognised Building Services Qualification – ONC / HNC in Building Services Engineering.
  • Strong experience of programme management.
  • Strong mechanical systems background to ensure full understanding of systems for installation on designated projects.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Have a strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
  • A legal right to work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS check must be passed due to the client buildings being visited.
  • A full UK Driving License which has been continuously held for 12 months or more, with no more than 6 points.
