Job Opportunity

Eames Consulting is seeking a seasoned Compliance Manager to support our client, a global insurance carrier, in London. As a key member of the international team, you will provide critical monitoring services to the firm's governing bodies and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan to ensure effective risk oversight.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement controls addressing identified weaknesses.

• Compile comprehensive Compliance Monitoring reports for Board and Committee meetings, highlighting compliance levels and control effectiveness.

• Monitor and report on progress regarding remedial actions from compliance findings.

• Work closely with Assurance functions for unified oversight and reporting.

• Contribute to the development of the annual Compliance Plan and departmental procedures.

• Support the Head of Compliance in implementing the Plan and managing the Compliance function.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, including FCS, PRA, CBI, and BMA.

• Proven experience in managing agents or general insurance environments.

• Strong understanding of the Compliance Monitoring role and its responsibilities.

• Experience managing a small team and providing guidance and support.
