Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering operational support to Flight Operations, performing maintenance inspections and repairs, and ensuring the continued safe operation of the aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations, including maintenance inspections and repairs.
  • Accomplish maintenance tasks, including airframe structure, power plant, mechanical, and electrical systems, in accordance with written instructions.
  • Conduct off-aircraft mechanical, power plant, component, and composite technical work in workshops as required.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems.
  • Knowledge of specialized test equipment relating to engine and airframe systems.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Flight/Airport Operations.
  • Aircraft Line Maintenance.
  • Aircraft Base Maintenance.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and UK MFTS.
  • Knowledge of CAA Part 145 and Part M regulations.
Education and Experience
  • Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or related discipline.
  • Experience of Base Maintenance.
  • Experience of Flight Operations and Line Maintenance.
