Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare, working in our Learning Disabilities and Autism services in Kendal and Workington. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological interventions and assessments to individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and provide initial interventions to service users referred to the service.
- Undertake direct and indirect specialist psychological interventions, making autonomous clinical decisions.
- Work therapeutically with service users with complex presentations, using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi-structured clinical methods.
- Formulate and implement plans of specialist psychological treatment or management of patients' mental health needs.
- Maintain high standards of care in all areas of practice, adhering to the HCPC Code of Conduct and professional guidelines.
- BPS recognised psychology degrees.
- UK HCPC registration.
- Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate post-graduate qualifications.
- Approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division.
- Understanding of evidence-based psychological practice.
- Experience of applying psychological knowledge to a Learning Disabilities and Autism setting.
- Experience of working with clients with cognitive deficits.
- Previous experience of conducting research and project working.
