Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Appoint Healthcare, a leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the continuous development of our Learning Disabilities and Autism services, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide specialised clinical psychology input.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual assessments, formulation, intervention, and consultation to support clients with cognitive deficits.
  • Deliver specialised psychological therapy and skills using a comprehensive range of clinical psychology theories.
  • Provide direct clinical work, assessment, supervision, and training for a friendly therapeutic team.
Requirements:
  • BPS recognised psychology degree.
  • UK HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Chartered Psychologist status.
  • Approved supervisor within the guidelines of BPS and relevant division.
  • Experience of applying psychological knowledge to a Learning Disabilities and Autism setting.
