Job Summary: Academics Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and caring Special Needs Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to children with special educational needs, helping them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, adapting materials to meet the needs of students with special needs.
  • Provide individualized support to students, addressing their specific learning challenges and promoting their academic progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to benefit students.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology or Criminology, with experience working with children and/or young people (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
