Imaging Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a caring and dynamic Imaging Assistant to join our Imaging Team at KIMS Hospital. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will support the Lead Imaging Nurse in delivering excellent patient care across all modalities, including Ultrasound, Mammography, and Cross-Sectional Imaging.
Main Responsibilities
- Providing administrative and clinical support within the Imaging Department.
- Assisting and supporting patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in Ultrasound.
- Assisting the Radiologist with Ultrasound-guided Fine Needle Aspirations (FNA's) and ensuring proper equipment setup and sample management.
- Supporting the Breast Radiologist in undertaking biopsy and aspiration procedures, ensuring equipment setup and sample management.
- Promoting patient independence and encouraging patients to undertake tasks within their capabilities.
