Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in the Southeast UK. This is a field-based role, requiring travel to suppliers and subcontractors.

About the Job:

This exciting opportunity involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our suppliers' products. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve manufacturing and quality-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess supplier performance and develop plans for improvement
  • Work with suppliers and internal teams to identify root causes of quality issues
  • Attend reviews related to quality concerns and implement necessary corrective actions
  • Measure and track supplier performance
  • Travel to suppliers and subcontractors as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Quality Inspector or Quality Technician role
  • Familiarity with industry and quality improvement tools
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Legal authorization to work in the UK (we will not sponsor employment visas)
