Job Description:

FJ Booth Construction Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the company's quality control and assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the company's ISO 9001 accreditations and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Manage the overall quality control and assurance aspects of the company's operations, including the fabrication of hot rolled structural steelwork for light and heavy industrial structures.
  • Oversee the quality control processes for sub-contractors' fabrication work, on-site steelwork, and cladding works.
  • Represent the company at client quality meetings and work closely with client project quality teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Understand and close out of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and issue Notices of Inspection (NOIs) for client inspections at the fabrication facility.
  • Test welders and have a sound understanding of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and review of codes and standards for the company.
  • Carry out audits at outside fabrication facilities (sub-contractors) and provide guidance on quality issues to site teams.
  • Help and advise on the content of site packs with clients and site teams.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in the structural steelwork industry.
  • Strong background in welding and fabrication, including welding inspection and documentation, and at least six years of experience.
  • Proven track record in quality management.
