Job Description:


Job title: Quality Manager

Reports to: Head of Clinical and Operations


Overview:

As a Quality Manager you will use your knowledge and skills to support our services to drive continuous improvement. Working alongside the Management Team to ensure services are compliant with CQC standards and branches are working towards achieving Outstanding in their inspections.

Core outcomes of the role

Oversee the Quality Assurance of Muve Homecare’s Service.

Ensure company policies and procedures are reviewed and implemented where necessary.

Undertake regular in house audits to ensure business compliance and implement improvement plans where necessary.

Review tender opportunity portals regularly and provide business opportunity updates to Snr Management team.

Ensure any tender opportunities are completed and submitted within advertised timeframes.

Work with internal compliance team to ensure workforce compliant in line with CQC regulations on “Safer Staffing”.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:


Quality Assurance:

Ensure CQC KLOE’s are being achieved within the services regulated homecare division.

Review and update company policies and procedures.

Ensure client and staff surveys are communication quarterly with feedback shared and action plans implemented.

Quality Audits:

Conduct regular quality audits on internal services, including client files, support plans, staff files, recruitment, and client daily records.

Generate reports with recommendations for service improvement based on audit findings.

Reporting:

Prepare and present regular reports on quality assurance activities and outcomes to senior management.

CQC:

Work with Branch Managers ahead of any pending inspection to ensure minimum of Good is achieved following inspection.

Incident Management & Complaints:

Support with complaints as required.

Ensure where relevant mandatory CQC notifications are submitted.

Other duties and expectations:

Attend meetings in a prepared way including:

Performance Updates.

When required be able to provide in depth reporting on concerns, improvements and action plans to ensure the Quality and Compliance of Muve Homecare meets/exceeds the expectations set out within CQC Regulation 18 Staffing.

Provide reports.

Detail key performance information to describe trends around performance and provide ability for future performance projections.

Supporting with Care Plans

Processes and policies.

Understand all processes associated with the role ‘the service’ and complete them accurately and timely.
