We are currently seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team and contribute to our mission of saving lives and alleviating suffering.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

The MSF Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the proper management and distribution of medications, medical equipment, and supplies in our projects around the world. This includes training and supervising local staff, conducting quality control checks, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement pharmaceutical management plans in MSF projects
  • Train and supervise local staff on good pharmacy practices
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with national and international regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics and supply chain management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualification as a pharmacist and significant post-qualification experience
  • Experience in supervising, training, and managing others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in French or Arabic is an asset
