Child Development Assistant

We're looking for a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Child Development Assistant at Camp Grossman in Dover, MA. As a key member of our staff, you'll play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children with special needs to thrive.
Main Responsibilities:- Design and lead engaging activities promoting socialization, emotional regulation, and cognitive development
- Foster a sense of community and belonging among campers through group discussions and one-on-one interactions
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels with parents and guardians regarding camper progress and concerns
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or experience welcome
- At least 16 years-old with 4-weeks supervisory experience or equivalent
- Jr. counselors must be 15 years-old and enrolled in 10th grade or above
- Competitive salary range: $19 - $24 per hour
- Overnight compensation: $100 - $140 per night
- Access to JCC Health & Fitness center
