Zebra People Seeks Technical Expertise

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Architect to join our ERP stabilisation programme as a key advisor. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in architecture review, security, and workflow optimisation to drive strategic impact.

About the Role

In this advisory capacity, you will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the existing ERP architecture, providing high-level recommendations to enhance security, workflows, service calls, and forms setup. You will collaborate with key programme leads, the Managed Service Provider, and the wider team to ensure the platform's stability and future readiness.

This role does not involve direct, hands-on technical work but focuses on delivering strategic insights and architecture recommendations. As a Technical Architect, you will play a critical role in guiding the programme towards its objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and Improve Architecture: Review the ERP system's current setup, including forms, workflows, and security configurations, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Advise on Security and Architecture: Provide expert guidance on areas such as security and architecture to support the platform's stabilisation and ensure its long-term viability.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with the Managed Service Provider and internal teams to plan and implement solutions, reporting findings and progress to senior leadership as required.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Share your expertise with the in-house team, upskilling them to handle the system effectively during the transition to BAU (business as usual) operations.

Your Background and Experience

  • A proven track record as a Technical Architect, ideally in ERP systems within public or large-scale organisations – Unit 4 experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in system setup reviews, security advisory, and workflow optimisation.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting recommendations to senior leadership and engaging with diverse stakeholders.

Role Details

  • Day Rate: £725, inside IR35.
  • Location: Primarily remote with occasional in-office meetings in Surrey.
  • Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension.
