About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Technician to join our team. As an Orthopaedic Technician, you will be responsible for applying casts, splints, and orthopaedic appliances, as well as maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply casts, splints, and orthopaedic appliances to patients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and orthopaedic conditions
Requirements:
  • British Orthopaedic Association Casting Certificate
  • In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology and of orthopaedic conditions
  • Sound working knowledge of casting materials
  • Experience of application of casting and splints
