Pest Control Specialist

Kiwa UK is seeking a skilled Pest Control Specialist to join our team. As a Pest Control Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting and auditing various facilities, both in the UK and overseas. This role requires a strong understanding of industry-recognized qualifications and the ability to produce detailed, accurate reports.

  • Inspect and audit facilities to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Produce detailed, accurate reports of inspections
  • Deliver reports to customers in a timely manner
  • Schedule and arrange inspection work allocations
  • Supervise and train new employees
  • Develop business opportunities for the company

Responsibilities:

  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Ensure proper storage and transport of pesticides
  • Understand and control rat and mouse populations
  • Control other vertebrate pests, including birds, rabbits, foxes, squirrels, moles, and feral cats
  • Public health insect pest biology and control, including cockroaches, ants, wasps, flies, and biting insects
  • Personal protective equipment and pesticide formulations
  • Willingness to travel both in the UK and overseas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of various retailer standards
  • Strong planning and organizational skills

Qualifications:

  • Practical pest control experience in various facilities
  • RSPH Level 2 Award or Certificate in Pest Management
  • BPCA Advanced Technician in Pest Management
  • Level 3 Food Safety
  • BPCA Certificated Field Biologist
