Refurb Plant Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Refurb Plant Engineer to join our maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic engineering expertise for the refurbishment and upgrade of plant machines and equipment.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all equipment is repaired and serviced to regulatory and safety standards. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality results and provide a support service for any issues relating to refurbishment and/or upgrade works.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic engineering expertise for the refurbishment and upgrade of plant machines and equipment
  2. Ensure all equipment is repaired and serviced to regulatory and safety standards
  3. Work closely with the team to deliver high-quality results
  4. Provide a support service for any issues relating to refurbishment and/or upgrade works
  5. Support and guide colleagues in their work
  6. Discuss and solve complex problems
  7. Provide mentoring and development to colleagues
Requirements:
  1. Computer literate in MS Office suite, Outlook, and Plant software package
  2. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance or a relevant subject
  3. Excellent attention to detail
  4. Customer-focused
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Experience in Plant desirable but not essential
  7. Full UK Driving Licence
