Job Title: Refurb Plant Engineer

Are you a skilled engineer looking for a challenging role in plant maintenance and refurbishment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Refurb Plant Engineer to join our team at Story Plant.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our maintenance team. As a Refurb Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for the refurbishment and upgrade of plant machines and equipment, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with regulatory and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs to plant equipment
  • Work to agreed work schedules and deadlines
  • Provide a support service for any issues relating to refurbishment and/or upgrade works
  • Support and guide colleagues in the maintenance team
  • Discuss and solve complex problems
  • Provide mentoring and development to colleagues

Requirements:

  • Computer literate in MS Office suite, Outlook, and plant software package
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance or a relevant subject
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Customer-focused
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in plant maintenance desirable but not essential
  • Full UK driving license
