We are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team at Moxy York. As a Night Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's financial and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management: Run the night audit and balance the day's accounts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Preparation and Planning: Prepare the hotel for the following day, including tasks such as inventory management and room preparation.
- Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and ensuring a positive experience.
- Food and Beverage Operations: Manage the operation of our Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring high standards of quality and service.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage all bills and payments correctly, prepare food, clean, tidy, restock, take deliveries, and organize Back of House areas.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all food safety, licensing, and health and safety policies, working safely at all times.
- Teamwork and Support: Support other crew members and follow direction from crew leaders, promoting a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Brand Representation: Promote and support the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program, embodying the values of Moxie.
- Experience: Previous experience within the service industry, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and/or Micros, as well as food safety and licensing laws.
- Personal Qualities: High energy, a fearless do-it-yourself attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to multitask and balance hard work with great service.
