We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Acorn by Synergie. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our clients in the Pontypool area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage employee attendance and performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve disciplinary issues, grievances, and mediate between employees.
  • Recruit and select top talent, advertising job openings, liaising with recruitment agencies, and conducting interviews.
  • Develop and implement employee training programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert advice on employment law and company policies to managers, foremen, and employees.
  • Manage the company workwear contract and time and attendance system.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a HR role, with a strong understanding of employment law and company policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a calm and assertive demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Working Conditions:

4-day working week, Monday to Thursday, with some Fridays required. Minimum of 40 hours per week. £40,000 per annum.
