About the Job

As a Senior Technical Designer at Jagex Ltd, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Old School RuneScape. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing content of varying types, working closely with our talented team of developers, designers, and artists.

Job Description:
  • Design and Implement Game Content: Utilize our in-house scripting language, RuneScript, to create engaging and immersive gameplay experiences.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with the lead technical designer, game engineers, graphics, QA, and audio teams to ensure seamless integration of design and development.
  • Guide and Mentor Other Developers: Share your expertise and knowledge to help others improve their skills and grow within the company.
Requirements:
  • Strong Technical Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in scripting or programming languages, including LUA, Python, or similar.
  • Experience in Game Development: A solid understanding of game development processes and an ability to guide improvements to our development environment.
  • Leadership Skills: An ability to motivate, inspire, and guide other team members towards achieving common goals.
