Barnsley Children's Services is seeking a highly skilled social work professional to support the Designated Social Care Officer in rolling out training, co-productions with parents/carers, children & young people, and developing Social Care/SEND services.

This non-case holding role requires experience of supervising others, although it is not essential. The successful candidate will have a strong background in child disability and safeguarding.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.

This role is initially for a 6-month period and offers a competitive salary.
