Community Mail Courier

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Postal Delivery Worker.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers in a local community, working 27.5 hours per week, 5 days a week, with varying shift times between 08:00 and 14:30.
The successful candidate will work Saturdays and one in three Sundays on a rota basis.
The job involves delivering for your local community, making billions of deliveries possible, from exam results to online purchases.
To excel in this position, you must possess excellent communication skills and be able to provide great customer service.
A minimum salary of £15,000 - £18,000 per annum is expected, depending on experience.
As a Royal Mail employee, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including market leading pay, 10% above the market average, paid monthly, as well as overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate.
You will also receive 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata), along with full uniform provided, and opportunities to develop a career, including trainee manager roles and Apprentice Schemes.
