We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our client in Southampton. This is a permanent position offering a salary up to £50,000 DOE.

Your main responsibility will be to identify, develop, and successfully close sale opportunities. You will own the sales life-cycle, maintaining and building existing customer relationships across the business. You will coordinate sales operations and implement sales techniques that allow the business to meet and surpass its sales targets consistently.

  • Managing key accounts
  • Leading the sales of the business to ensure that targets are achieved and realistically derived for expected turnaround times
  • Negotiating any contracts and price increases to ensure that business growth and margin targets are met
  • Processing sales orders
  • Preparing quotes and estimates for new and existing customers
  • Providing accurate forecasting of financial performance of key accounts
  • Providing customer and market insight into the business
  • Building and maintaining excellent business relationships with new and existing customers, suppliers, and industry representatives
  • Providing regular reports to the managing director
Ideal Candidate:
  • Be a self-starter and a highly motivated individual
  • Be able to set and achieve short and long-term goals in line with business needs
  • To be output-oriented
  • Have experience in working with aerospace, engineering, and manufacturing customers
  • Experience in a technical manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have the ability to develop strong relationships within the business and externally
  • Have the capacity to overcome barriers
