Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finances of the company, including purchase and sales ledgers, bank accounts, payroll, VAT, and import/export customs procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the company's financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the management team to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification in accounting, such as AAT or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll.
  • Experience with Sage stock and project modules, as well as knowledge of import/export customs procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
