About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Strategic Development to join our team at Mace. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our strategic plans, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects and services that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to our programme management team, ensuring the effective delivery of projects and services that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Project Delivery: Lead the delivery of key projects and programmes, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop a team of programme managers and coordinators, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality projects and services.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and ensuring that we deliver services that meet their requirements.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with potential clients and partners.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure that our operations are efficient, effective, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: MCIOB / MAPM/MRICS/MICE (or local equivalent).
  • Experience: Significant experience in programme management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects and services.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of programme managers and coordinators. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
