Job Title: Project Manager - Step Up Step Down Programme
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our innovative Step Up Step Down programme in Powys. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and delivering the programme, working closely with the local authority team and community support services.
About the Programme
Step Up Step Down is a pioneering approach to supporting families on the edge of care, demonstrating a reduction in the numbers of children coming into care, and improved outcomes for children and families. The programme is designed to provide time-limited, preventative support to up to four families at any one time, using specialist, highly trained family support foster carers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and delivery of the Step Up Step Down programme in Powys
- Work closely with the local authority team and community support services to ensure effective programme delivery
- Provide information and support to families and foster carers
- Deliver training to parents and lead groups and activities for children and young people
- Build relationships and engage with community support services
- Work within a trauma-informed setting, using a solution-focused approach
About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving the lives, experiences, and outcomes for children and young people. The successful candidate will need to have experience of working alongside families and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
