About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our team in Sutton. As a key member of our estate agency team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily meetings with the estate agency team to discuss sales performance and set goals.
  • Coach and develop the team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitor and assess individual team member performance, including conducting one-to-one meetings.
  • Encourage team development and progression, and provide opportunities for growth and advancement.
  • Focus on generating new and repeat business, and develop strong relationships with vendors and buyers.
  • Liaise with prospective buyers and arrange property viewings in line with their needs.
  • Negotiate offers and agree sales, ensuring the business is risk-averse and compliant with regulatory bodies.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence for a manual vehicle.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within estate agency at a senior negotiator position, property valuer position, or higher.
  • Ability to work well with others to create a team spirit and enjoyable working environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create trusting relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Ability to create and action business plans relevant to the branch, and monitor and assess performance of local competitors.
  • Strong understanding of current legislation related to estate agency, and ability to manage time-sensitive and high-volume workloads.
  • Reputation for delivering outstanding customer service, and ability to work under own initiative.
  • Good telephone manner, and strong IT skills (basic Microsoft packages).
  • Attention to detail.

Eligibility

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (in accordance with the Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006).
  • Evidence of right to work in the UK, in the form of passport/birth certificate.
  • Proof of address.
  • National Insurance.
  • Drivers licence check.
