Job Title: Deputy SENCO

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy SENCO to join our team at an Outstanding Primary School in Newham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the SENCO to provide support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist in the completion of EHCPs and assessments.
  • Provide additional support to ensure progress is being made for all SEN pupils.
  • Work closely with a range of professionals to ensure effective support.
  • Step in as the main SENCO if needed.
  • The school is willing to support the successful candidate in obtaining their SENCO qualification.

Requirements:

  • Desire and passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Experience in supporting SEN students.
  • Ambition to become a SENCO.
  • Must hold UK QTS.
  • Graded as good or outstanding in recent observations.
