Finance Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious graduate to join our finance team at We Do Group. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop practical skills in finance and accounting, working closely with our experienced finance manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Coding and processing supplier invoices to ensure accurate allocation to accounts
- Clearing the backlog of outstanding invoices and handling preparation and distribution
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies promptly
- Assisting in reviewing and refining invoicing processes for efficiency improvements
- Supporting the implementation and rollout of a new invoicing system
- Monitoring and following up on overdue customer payments
- Preparing weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports for management
- Collaborating with the finance team to strengthen internal controls and streamline processing
Requirements
- Recent graduate (ideally with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field)
- Ability to commute to Woking town centre
- Strong Excel and computer skills
- High emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits
The salary offered is between £24,000 - £28,000, based on experience and qualifications. This role follows a hybrid working model, with four days per week required in the newly built, central Woking offices.
