About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Engineer to join our team at Telent Technology Services Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, and inspections of traffic signals units and associated equipment across the Salisbury area and Wiltshire region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete planned periodic inspections in line with agreed schedules and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Perform maintenance tasks in accordance with agreed schedules and SLAs
  • Attend assigned reactive faults as required by the contract
  • Interrogate all types of traffic signals controllers and carry out fault analysis
  • Ensure test equipment, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and vehicles are all compliant with up-to-date certification as required
  • Ensure works are completed in accordance with site specifications
  • Follow site specifications for quality and accuracy
  • Be aware of safety at work and be alert in identifying potential hazards by removing or minimizing them wherever possible by following all Health and Safety Procedures
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Electrical Maintenance or Electrical Installations, or possess equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or Traffic Engineering
  • General IT skills with the ability to use a tablet
  • Works well within a team
  • Possesses a full UK Driving License
