Job Description

Axon Moore Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Finance Manager to join their team. As a key member of the finance function, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and profitability.

Main Responsibilities
  • Commercial Analysis: Provide in-depth commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Business Partnering: Act as a trusted business partner to operations, driving growth and profitability through effective financial management.
  • Financial Planning: Support the development of the company's financial model and 5-year plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop and manage accurate forecasts and budgets, ensuring timely and effective financial planning.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, ensuring the effective delivery of financial services.
  • Reporting: Develop and present the monthly board pack, including variance analysis and other key financial metrics.
  • Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments, identifying opportunities to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manufacturing Efficiency: Drive manufacturing efficiency and pricing initiatives to maximize profits and improve competitiveness.
Person Specification
  • Qualifications: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong understanding of financial management principles.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong track record of driving business growth and profitability.
  • Skills: Excellent people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commercial Acumen: Highly commercial, with a strong ability to identify opportunities to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Business Partnering: Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to work effectively with operations to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
