Job Title: Financial Director - Spire Regency Hospital

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Director to join our senior management team at Spire Regency Hospital. As a key member of the hospital's leadership team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to enable robust and well-informed business decision-making within appropriate controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the hospital's financial strategy in line with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Provide financial leadership and support to the hospital's senior management team to ensure effective decision-making.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports, management accounts, and other financial information to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Work closely with the Hospital Director and other members of the senior management team to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Ensure the efficient and profitable delivery of patient services and NHS contracting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including consultants, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant with experience in a commercially and operationally focused finance role.
  • Proven team leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of the industry's financial and operational challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
