National Wildlife Crime Unit Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Intelligence Officer to join our team at the National Wildlife Crime Unit (NWCU). As an Intelligence Officer, you will play a key role in providing analysis to enable timely intervention and manage current/emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and evaluate intelligence, making an assessment of the threat, risk, harm, vulnerabilities and opportunities which exist and identifying gaps.
- Manage the dissemination of the assessment or intelligence product, support reactive and proactive investigations and provide advice on appropriate tactical options to support policing priorities.

Requirements- Educated to QCF level 3 / SCQF Level 6 (Higher) or work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level.
- Experience of the National Intelligence Model (NIM) and researching information from a variety of sources.
