National Wildlife Crime Unit Intelligence Officer

We are seeking an experienced Intelligence Officer to join our team at the National Wildlife Crime Unit (NWCU). The successful candidate will play a key role in providing analysis to enable timely intervention and manage current/emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and evaluate intelligence, making an assessment of the threat, risk, harm, vulnerabilities, and opportunities which exist and identifying gaps.
- Manage the dissemination of the assessment or intelligence product, support reactive and proactive investigations, and provide advice on appropriate tactical options to support policing priorities.

Requirements- Educated to QCF level 3 / SCQF Level 6 (Higher) or work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level.
- Experience of the National Intelligence Model (NIM) and researching information from a variety of sources.
