Job Title: Welfare Assistant

Location: Blackburn

Hours: Part-time

Salary: £11.15-£13.22

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic individual to support the well-being of our pupils. As a Welfare Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and happiness of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care and Daily Living Tasks: Assist with daily activities, such as personal care and daily living tasks, to ensure the pupils' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Emotional and Physical Well-being: Provide emotional support and monitor the pupils' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any concerns to the relevant authorities.
  • Welfare Concerns: Monitor and report any welfare concerns to the relevant authorities, ensuring the pupils' safety and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Caring and Empathetic Nature: Possess a caring and empathetic nature, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Previous Care Experience: Previous care experience is an advantage, but not essential.
