Job Title: Operational Risk Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join our Project Controls Team in Glasgow. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and prioritizing threats, opportunities, and issues on high-profile infrastructure projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate risk identification, assessment, and prioritization to ensure effective risk management
  • Maintain visibility of risk trigger points to facilitate timely risk budget drawdown or retirement
  • Assist in developing and implementing risk management responses, including assessing post-mitigated positions
  • Monitor overall risk exposure and assess against remaining risk budget and timeline
  • Produce and present risk reports to support effective communication of risk status and required senior management action
  • Understand quantitative risk assessment to inform project contingency and time risk allowance levels
  • Familiarity with web-based database/reporting tools, including ARM, Xactium, Predict, Tableau, and PowerBI
Requirements:
  • Experience in a risk delivery role on major projects/programmes or blue-chip clients
  • Project experience within energy, renewables, defence, rail, and utilities sectors is an advantage
  • Attainment or working towards IRM/APM risk certification is preferred
