About the Role
Capco is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Specialist to join our team in Glasgow. As an Operational Risk Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting and growing a brand new Capco client.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze Operational Risk Events originating in Front Office/Corporate areas, providing challenge over root cause/control failures and required control enhancements.
- Produce and review Operational Risk Management Information (MI) for periodic Front Office/Corporate meetings and Legal Entity Committees.
- Attend and take minutes for Operational Risk meetings with Front Office/Corporate areas.
- Oversight of numerous Operational Risk processes, including Key Risk Indicator submissions and actions closure.
- Coordinate internal Operational Risk meetings and track follow-ups.
- Participate in Operational Risk-led projects as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an Investment Bank working in a trading environment.
- Experience in either Risk & Control or Operational Risk.
- Product experience or regulatory knowledge is beneficial.
