We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join our Project Controls Team in Glasgow. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and prioritizing threats, opportunities, and issues on high-profile infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate the identification and assessment of risks, opportunities, and issues on major projects and programs.
- Maintain visibility of risk trigger points to facilitate timely risk budgeting and retirement of threats and opportunities.
- Assist in the development of management responses to risks, including assessing post-mitigated positions.
- Monitor overall risk exposure and assess against remaining risk budget and timeline.
- Produce and present risk reports to support effective communication of threat and opportunity status.
- Understand quantitative risk assessment to inform project contingency and time risk allowance levels.
- Familiarity with web-based database and reporting tools, including ARM, Xactium, Predict, Tableau, and PowerBI.
- Experience in a risk delivery role on major projects or programs.
- Knowledge of project controls methodology and risk management interactions.
- Ability to develop and implement integrated risk management solutions.
- Qualitative and quantitative risk assessment skills, including probabilistic modeling.
- Industry leading training will be provided.
It is essential that you have experience in a risk delivery role on major projects or programs. Project experience within energy, renewables, defense, rail, and utilities will be an advantage. Attainment or working towards IRM/APM risk certified candidates preferred.
