Join Capco's Risk Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Control Specialist to join our team in Glasgow. As a key member of our Risk team, you will play a critical role in supporting and growing our business.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading financial services firm, where you will be responsible for reviewing Operational Risk Events originating in Front Office/Corporate areas. You will provide challenge over root cause/control failures and required control enhancements, as well as production/review of Operational Risk MI for periodic Front Office/Corporate meetings & Legal Entity Committees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review of Operational Risk Events originating in Front Office/Corporate areas
  • Production/review of Operational Risk MI for periodic Front Office/Corporate meetings & Legal Entity Committees
  • Attendance/key minute taking for Operational Risk meetings with Front Office/Corporate areas
  • Oversight of numerous Operational Risk processes, e.g. Key Risk Indicator submissions & actions closure
  • Coordination of internal Operational Risk meetings & tracking of follow-ups
  • Involvement in Operational Risk led projects as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven and demonstrated experience in an Investment Bank working in a trading environment
  • Experience in either Risk & Control or Operational Risk
  • Product experience or regulatory knowledge is beneficial
