Exciting Opportunity for a Development Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Surveyor to join our team in Bristol, working on a variety of consultancy, agency, and strategic land work. As a key member of our planning and development business, you will contribute to the growth and direction of our Bristol hub office.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on residential, mixed-use, and strategic development land for private and public sector clients.
  • Assist in generating fees through dealing with planning and development matters, enhancing client relationships, and securing new clients.
  • Handle all matters associated with strategic and immediate development land opportunities, including disposal and acquisition, planning and development strategies, and development appraisal work.
  • Support the negotiation of development agreements, including promotion, option, joint venture, and conditional contracts.
  • Assist with major residential-led mixed-use development schemes.

Requirements:

  • RICS chartered surveyor with post-qualification experience in development consultancy and agency.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of development appraisals, advisory, and disposal work.
  • Ability to provide written option assessments and transactional advice, and be competent in Argus Developer (or equivalent).
  • Excellent team player with forward-thinking skills, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to develop client relationships and support colleagues internally.

This is an excellent opportunity for a development surveyor to join a growing team and contribute to the growth and direction of our Bristol hub office. A full driving license is required for this role, as regular travel to sites is expected.
