Join Our Team as a Development Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Development Surveyor to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary hub office, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and development in the southwest region.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our Planning and Development partners to deliver high-profile consultancy, agency, and strategic land projects. You will be responsible for growing our team and contributing to the overall direction of our Bristol office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on residential, mixed-use, and strategic development land to our private and public sector clients.
  • Assist in generating fees through dealing with planning and development matters, enhancing existing client relationships, and securing new clients.
  • Handle all matters associated with strategic and immediate development land opportunities, including disposal and acquisition, planning and development strategies, and development appraisal work.
  • Support the negotiation of development agreements, including promotion, option, joint venture, and conditional contracts.
  • Assist with major residential-led mixed-use development schemes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a RICS chartered surveyor with post-qualification experience in development consultancy and agency. You will also need to demonstrate experience and knowledge of development appraisals, advisory, and disposal work, as well as the ability to provide written option assessments and transactional advice.

You will be an excellent team player with excellent communication skills, able to develop client relationships and support and cross-sell with colleagues internally. A full driving license is required for this role, as regular travel to sites is expected.
