Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) professional to join our team as a Business Financial Modeller. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis.

The role involves developing and refining complex financial models for budgeting and long-range planning, conducting in-depth analysis of key drivers such as pricing, unit economics, and margin optimisation, and providing strategic financial insights by working closely with the Management Accounts Team.

The successful candidate will be an advanced Excel user with analytical expertise and experience with platforms such as Tableau. They will also be able to effectively communicate ideas to senior leadership and have the commercial acumen to drive change and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modelling: Develop and refine complex financial models for budgeting and long-range planning (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Analysis and Insights: Conduct in-depth analysis of key drivers such as pricing, unit economics and margin optimisation to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Provide strategic financial insights by working closely with the Management Accounts Team, delivering impactful commentary on performance trends and opportunities.
  • Finance Business Partnering: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive business growth and development.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and help develop internal controls.

Requirements:

  1. Hold a recognised accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
  2. Have experience in a similar role with a background in FP&A and a specific skill for financial modelling.
  3. Be an advanced Excel user with analytical expertise.
  4. Have experience with platforms such as Tableau.
  5. Be an effective communicator who can confidently articulate ideas to senior leadership and has the commercial acumen to drive change and make informed decisions.
