Casualty Claims Handler – Hybrid working - Maxim Business Park
Job Description:
Aviva is seeking a highly skilled and organised Claims Handler to join our team in Maxim Business Park. As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for handling insurance claims with maximum efficiency and minimum fuss.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle insurance claims with maximum efficiency and minimum fuss
- Drive claims forward and make accurate liability decisions
- Communicate effectively with customers, brokers, and claimant solicitors
- Take personal responsibility for your own caseload
- Continually reorganise and prioritise to ensure our customers get the best service possible
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs/National 5s at grade A to C (Grades 4 – 9 from 2017) with two of those being in Maths and English preferably
- Excellent communication both written and oral together with questioning skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- No previous claims or insurance experience is required as full training will be provided.
- Quick learner who's not afraid of a challenge
