We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Academic Psychologist to join our team as a Lecturer in Psychology.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the educational experience of our students, ensuring they develop the knowledge and skills required to succeed and make a positive impact in the world.

As a Lecturer in Psychology, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses, working collaboratively with colleagues to introduce innovative curriculum design and delivery. Your expertise in Psychology will enable you to specialize in course delivery, assessment, and scholarship of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that promote student engagement and success.
  • Contribute to the development of new modes of course delivery, assessment, and curriculum design.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the School's teaching and learning environment.
  • Pursue scholarly work on teaching and learning in line with your discipline(s).

Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent in Psychology or a related field.
  • Disciplinary expertise in Psychology with knowledge, experience, and creativity in innovative modes of course delivery, assessment, and curriculum design.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to motivate and inspire learners.

What We Offer:

The University of Leeds offers a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus a generous benefits package including pension scheme, annual leave, and access to professional development opportunities.
